Stone restoration work carried out on Ganny lock Brighouse. The pressure of the embankment had moved the lock wall in by 100mm in some places.

The lock wall was refaced due to subsidence over hundreds of years. Up to 4" was taken of the stone work, to leave a smooth finish to match the original stone work.In time the newly exposed stone will weather to match the old stone
